Weekending

last weekend was a.m.a.z.i.n.g... here is a recap of the best parts:

hanging out in my jammies all morning long...

 drinking coffee, blog hopping and throwing in a little laundry...

 shopping for a bit in the afternoon...

 cleaning my mess of a house which always feels good...

date night with marcus... Carraba's for dinner...

chicken marsala and a little blackberry sangria...

getting a kickstart on my Saturday morning... early to rise...

 a bagel and coffee breakfast with Ashley followed by hours of shopping...

coming home with a black puffy vest and the cutest scarf ever!

warm pumpkin muffins from Panera... my new favorite treat...

my guys having an entire saturday home...

a bonfire that burned from 9am to 9 pm...

realizing my boys are growing up and loving my husband for nurturing them into little men...

they placed stones and nails in the fire until they were fiery hot then placed them in buckets of water...

steam filled the buckets and rose into the cold autumn air 

 the boys said they were making "hush puppies" which was their own name for the fun they were having... pyromaniacs just like their dad...

we ended the night with the boys and their friends putting on a "hush puppy" show for the parents...

roasting marshmallows and enjoying what will most likely be the last smores of the year...

gaining an hour of sleep due to the time change was wonderful and needed...

sunday was a long and lazy day... my favorite kind...

skinny minnie soup in the crockpot...

watching my boys sofa wrestle and giggle and bond... always eachother's best friends...

it really was a pretty amazing weekend!
