the weekend was:
enjoying every bite of warm cinnamon apple pie with ice cream ala mode
three of us arising at dawn to make it to an early soccer game
one snuggled in the chair watching cartoons
one snuggled in her flannel sheets thankful to be sleeping in.
by mid morning, marc and the two older boys were enjoying a big breakfast and
jaeger and i were off to his last game of the season
by afternoon, we had gathered together again to watch the final game of the day
there was a walk to Starbucks - coffee to warm us from the chill of the October air
there was meeting up at Wendy's to fill our bellies... lunch was long overdue
early evening was spent visiting with my grandma... chatting and laughing at the stinker in her
feeling blessed knowing that she covers my family in prayer every.single.day
sunday was relaxing and good
cheering at my niece Jae's soccer game
celebrating my nephew Grant's 2nd birthday
white chicken chili, pizza for the kiddo's, brownie sundae's
laughing, joking, telling stories
the weekend was surrounded with family...
my greatest blessing of all!
