today was the kind of day that makes me (sigh), a contented sigh... aaahhhhhh...
i love an autumn day where the sky is brilliant blue and the sun shines bright...
the leaves are turning bright yellow and fire red and glowing orange...
the mornings bring a touch of frost and crisp cold air
the afternoon sun however feels warm on your skin...
everywhere i look, beauty abounds...
i love the smell of autumn too...
that distinct smell of fallen leaves crunching beneath your feet..
the fresh sweet smell of apples...
apple cider bubbling on the stove...
today... the doors were open, the breeze blew in...
today... mums in delicious fall colors adorn my front porch...
today... i took a nature walk with my boys
we collected leaves for a leaf project...
we lingered in the fields, plucking seedpods from milkweed...
the sun began to set...
a brilliant bright orange bathing the sky in warmth...
another contented sigh...
God is so good!
